In Ayurveda, balanced Agni (digestive fire) is considered the root of good health. Small daily habits can make a big difference.
- Eat at regular times. Your digestive system likes rhythm.
- Make lunch your main meal. Digestion is traditionally considered strongest around midday.
- Eat only when hungry and avoid frequent snacking.
- Prefer warm, freshly cooked food over cold or stale food.
- Sip warm water through the day rather than iced drinks.
- Walk a little after meals instead of lying down.
- Keep dinner light and early — ideally 2–3 hours before sleep.
