Frequently Asked Questions

Answers about treatments, Panchakarma, appointments, insurance, orders and reports.

Ayurvedic treatments

Are Ayurvedic treatments safe?

When prescribed by qualified Ayurvedic physicians and prepared under quality standards, Ayurvedic medicines and therapies are generally well tolerated. Safety depends on the right diagnosis, dose and duration, so we advise against self-medication. Always tell your doctor about other medicines you take.

Can I continue my allopathic medicines with Ayurvedic treatment?

In most cases, yes. Please bring a list of all current medicines. Never stop prescribed medicines, especially for diabetes, blood pressure, heart or thyroid conditions, without consulting the doctor who prescribed them.

How long does Ayurvedic treatment take?

Duration depends on the condition, how long you have had it and your overall health. Your physician will explain the expected course of therapies and medicines after the first evaluation.

Panchakarma

What is Panchakarma?

Panchakarma is the classical Ayurvedic system of five cleansing procedures — Vamana, Virechana, Basti, Nasya and Raktamokshana — along with preparatory therapies like Abhyanga and Swedana. It is planned individually after a medical evaluation.

Is Panchakarma suitable for everyone?

No. Some procedures are not suitable during pregnancy, in very weak or elderly patients, or with certain medical conditions. Our physicians decide the suitable therapies after examining you.

Do I need to stay in the hospital for Panchakarma?

Many therapies are done on a day-care basis. Intensive procedures like Vamana or Virechana may need closer supervision; the doctor will advise outpatient or inpatient care.

Appointment booking

How do I book an appointment?

You can book online through the Book Appointment page, call the hospital, or send us a WhatsApp message. Our team will call you to confirm the date and time.

What should I bring for my first visit?

Please bring previous prescriptions, test reports (MRI, X-ray, blood tests), a list of current medicines, a photo ID and your insurance card if applicable.

Can I consult before visiting?

Yes. You can send your medical reports online and our doctors will review them and contact you with guidance on the next steps.

Insurance & TPA

Do you accept health insurance?

We assist patients with eligible health insurance and TPA claims for Ayurvedic treatment. Coverage depends on your policy terms and the insurer's approval. Contact our insurance desk with your policy details.

Is Ayurvedic treatment covered under health insurance?

Many health insurance policies in India include AYUSH treatment for in-patient hospitalisation in recognised hospitals, subject to policy terms. Our insurance desk can help you check your policy.

Cashless treatment

Is cashless treatment available?

Cashless treatment may be available for eligible policies, subject to policy coverage, insurer/TPA approval, treatment eligibility and pre-authorisation. Cashless approval is not guaranteed.

What documents are needed for cashless treatment?

Usually the insurance card or e-card, policy copy, photo ID (such as Aadhaar or PAN), doctor's advice for admission and relevant medical reports. The insurance desk will guide you on the exact list.

Online medicine orders

Can I buy Ayurvedic medicines online?

Yes. You can order medicines from our online pharmacy. Some products require a valid prescription and cannot be ordered online without one.

Do I need a prescription to order?

Many classical Ayurvedic products can be ordered directly, but certain medicines are dispensed only against a valid prescription. Such products are clearly marked 'Prescription required'.

Can I return medicines?

For safety reasons, opened medicines cannot be returned. Damaged, wrong or expired products can be replaced as per our Return & Refund Policy.
